for the non-hunting, family dog General Obedience

Our general obedience course is for the non-hunting, family dog. Your dog will be taught the regular commands: sit, stay, come, and heel along with other household manners. Part of this program involves working on and off leash, e-collar conditioning, and situations with distractions. Our goal is to return to you a well behaved family dog who is a joy to live with. We will make sure your dog will have good manners in the house. We deal with typical situations that come up at home like not coming when called, jumping on visitors, counter surfing, place training (staying on its rug), barking for attention, etc. This program includes two hands on, one-one-one sessions with the trainer. The ideal age to start this program is for your puppy to be at least 7 months old, but it can be started at any age. This program takes approximately 3 weeks to complete.
Another benefit to having your dog trained at Wings and Whistles is we can do some board and train if your dog comes to stay with us for boarding. Because we know your dog and the training that we’ve done we can easily do a day or two of refreshing. If you chose to have some board and training done, it is always at the discretion of the trainer and the rate for that day is the training rate.
Includes: Boarding, training, and 2 sessions with the trainer
